Portfolio VI
This project involved creativity from start to finish. It involved creating a composition from scratch or doing a cover. I decided to make a fresh composition, including live instruments and a special guest feature. I recorded, mixed, and mastered the song titled All Night feat. Tavonne
Inspiration
The inspiration behind this track stemmed from the reference track I used. I am a big fan of Don Toliver so I chose one of his records as the reference. Some of the recording and mixing techniques he used are integrated into my production.
Artists
There are two additional artists included in this production besides myself. The amazing guitarist you hear is Timothy Walker, co-owner of RoundTable Recording Studios in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a former lead singer in a band with years of experience playing electric guitar and other instruments. The spectacular female vocalist included is a local upcoming artist, singer, and songwriter Tavonne. She is currently developing an EP of her own. She's been featured on countless records and has years of experience.
